It includes the following items: strut padding, strut hook-and-loop, shrink tube, calf piece, calf piece padding, calf piece light hook-and-loop, light strap, light elastic band, and silicone padding kit. The brace is sold separately.
With daily use, the soft parts of your AFO (straps, padding, and hook-and-loop closures) naturally wear out and often need to be replaced about once a year, sometimes sooner if you are very active or wash them frequently. If your brace used to fit well but now won't stay closed, the Velcro no longer "sticks" like it used to, the padding is thin or flattened, the edges are cracked or curling, or the brace feels loose even when fully tightened, it's usually time to replace the soft goods using an accessory kit. Replacing these parts can make the brace feel secure and comfortable again, without needing a whole new AFO.
