I absolutely LOVE these crutches. I have has and have numerous pairs. I sad to learn that I can't purchase additional colors.
I bought this for my 22 y/o Appy who has a cracked hoof. I have not had a chance to work with it d/t the cold weather but am anxious to see if it helps. I will update review when I get to put it on.
I was given the Donjoy version of this brace after my elbow surgery and it was terrible. Everything about it was bad. It was heavy, difficult to adjust and refused to stay in place as it was always sliding down my forearm. The pads under the straps had uncomfortable metal edges that rubbed my skin raw and the range of motion dial was really heavy.
Everything about this brace is better. It’s lighter, the straps fit better and it’s way easier to adjust. I am wearing a tubular ace bandage under it which helps keep it right where it is supposed to be. Since I’m in this thing 24/7 for 8 weeks the $140 out of pocket was SO worth it!
Easy to apply and stays on for weeks. I love it 😊
