Orthopedic Cast Stockinette or Stockings are the first part that goes against the skin during cast application. The cast padding is then rolled on top of the cast stockinette followed by fiberglass or plaster casting tape. Cast stockinette is often used under bracing items as well, such as Cam Walkers and Knee Braces. This helps keep the knee brace or Cam Walker from contact with sweat, keeping it clean on the inside. Cast stockinette is made of polyester material and come white in color. For convenience we sell our cast stockinette by the foot cut directly from the roll.
