XeroSox Waterproof cast cover gives you the ability to swim, shower or even take a bath with XeroSox waterproof cast cover. This unique cast cover allow you to vacuum out the air from around your cast. It creates a waterproof seal around the end part of the cast keeping water from entering your cast. This is the original cast cover on the market.

Size Chart Waterproof Leg Cast Cover
NOTE: Cast cover opening will be tight when going over the cast. It needs to be tight so it can fit snug around the arm or leg. Fitting snug will allow it to create a vacuum waterproof seal.
NOTE: The above size ranges are the min and max to fit the xerosox. If you are close in the region of +/- 1/4 inch it may fit you. XeroSox is intended to fit the general population and may not fit everyone. If you are outside the above size range this item may not fit you.
How To Get Measurements for the XeroSox Waterproof Cast Cover
1) Measure Limb Circumference
Do not measure around the cast, but around the bare leg as in the photo.
Leg: Measure the circumference of the leg just above the cast or bandage. If the end of the cast is very close to the knee, measure mid thigh.
2) Measure Length
Leg: Measure from the back of the heel to where the circumference was measured. For younger children the full arm and full leg XeroSox® offer the best fit; measure from their mid bicep or mid thigh. Don't worry if the XeroSox® is longer than it needs to be. Move the extra length to the middle of the limb, the excess material will just shrink in on itself when the vacuum is created.
3) Use Size Charts
Using the size charts select the XeroSox® size that is right for you or your patient.
The circumference is more important than the length because it is critical for a good seal.
*Note the half arms and half legs are not normally used for children. Pediatric patients almost always use full arm or leg XeroSox®.
